Every number is a count of openings in the Portland metro area, checked by a person against the employer's own careers page. Metro means Multnomah, Washington and Clackamas counties plus Clark County in Washington. Salem, Eugene and Bend jobs are not counted, even when the employer lists them.
Apply anytime means the employer keeps no posted job list. Staffing agencies and day labor services work this way. It does not mean they are not hiring. It often means they can place you faster than an employer sitting on forty postings.
